ITV The Chase viewers were left surprised tonight – after a contestant RAN OUT of time.
Kathryn was the first contestant on the show tonight, but was knocked out by Anne Hegerty.
Anne, nicknamed the Governess, was opposite the Shrewsbury, Shropshire contestant.
But on her final question, when pressed by Bradley Walsh on which the second planet nearest the Sun was, Kathryn struggled.
She ran out of time and was left kicking herself – but Anne was quick to step in and discuss where she went wrong.
Bradley said: “What would you have put?”
“I was going to put Neptune,” said Kathryn.
“You were going to say Neptune – the answer is Venus, I am afraid. You stay where you are, I’m afraid, and we see what the Governess said…” Bradley added.
