Bradley Walsh stunned as David James makes history on ITV The Chase


Bradley Walsh was stunned as former professional footballer David James made history on a special episode of The Chase for Soccer Aid. The goalkeeper, who went on to have 53 England caps between 1997 and 2010, beat the record for the most questions answered during a celebrity cash builder round on the hit ITV quiz show on Friday night (June 10).

He wowed his teammates – Shaun Williamson, Lianne Sanderson and Dion Dublin – and host Bradley after racking up an impressive 11 questions, taking back £11,000 for the team. He was up against Darragh Ennis, aka The Menace, on the charity special for Unicef.

The team racked up an impressive 24 questions in the final chase as Bradley said it was an “extraordinary” performance. And they took back an amazing £150,000 for the charity after Shaun added £132,000 to the pot.
