Appeal to trace men after spate of burglaries


Police are trying to trace two men after a spate of burglaries in Aldridge.

Two men struck at four homes on Station Road, Dumblederry Lane and Middlemore Lane West between 5.30am and 6.45am on Sunday, officers said.

They burgled two properties, stealing an Audi and items from a home in Station Road causing “great distress” to the owner.

They also broke into a garage and attempted to break into another house.

Walsall Police tweeted saying: “Do you recognise these two men? We want to speak to them about a spate of burglaries in Aldridge on the morning of Sunday (12 Sept).

“Between 5.30am and 6.45am two men struck at four different properties on Station Road, Dumblederry Lane and Middlemore Lane West.

“They broke into a garage, attempted to break into a house and burgled two properties, stealing an Audi and belongings from one home in Station Road, causing great distress for the owner.
