Earlier this week, the news broke that “OnePlus 2.0” is on the way. As expected, OnePlus and Oppo are merging ever closer, including in the software department. OnePlus’ Oxygen OS and Oppo’s Color OS will come together to create a new as-yet-unnamed unified operating system.
Of course, in true OnePlus fashion, the company isn’t telling us anything about this new unified OS. Instead, we’re left to speculate on how it could ever be possible for a mobile OS to be both “feature-rich” and “lightweight.” You can read more about our thoughts on this here.
This got us thinking: what are you hoping for? Are you hoping for OnePlus hardware with something similar to Color OS? Or are you hoping for Oppo hardware with something similar to Oxygen OS? Assuming those are your only two choices, which would you choose?
Hit up the poll above to let us know your answer. Assume that whichever choice you make, the hypothetical phone in question is flagship-level. So assume it’s something like a OnePlus 9 Pro with Color OS or an Oppo Find X3 Pro with Oxygen OS.
Let us know your answer in the poll, and then feel free to sound off in the comments if you’ve got something you want to say.
