The Gunners are determined to get at least one more deal through the door before the end of the month and a number of top targets could be about to fulfil that ambition
Arsenal’s transfer window continues to gather pace as the Gunners set about opening up negotiations with a number of clubs and players in search of the perfect deals this summer, with numerous stories linking Mikel Arteta’s side to more targets each day.
And the latest of those has revealed that Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot wants to leave Juventus this summer and join a Premier League club, which has put the Gunners on high alert, while Ajax have revealed Lisandro Martinez’s price tag after Edu’s first bid for the defender fell well below their estimation.
Mirror Football brings you all the latest transfer stories coming out of the Emirates Stadium…
Rabiot ‘wants’ Premier League move
After it was revealed that Mikel Arteta is eyeing up a deal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer, the latest reports have now indicated that the Frenchman ‘wants’ to leave the Serie A outfit and sign for a Premier League club, according to the Telegraph.
As a result, this has put Arsenal on red alert, and what is even more appealing is that Rabiot could be available for as little as £15m, which would suit the Gunners down to the ground having already splashed out more than double that on Fabio Vieira from Porto this month.
However, the Gunners are also expected to face competition for the midfielder from the likes of Chelsea and Newcastle United, but the 27-year-old has made his feelings clear on his future following three seasons at Juventus, having joined from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.

Ajax reveal Martinez price tag
Arsenal are looking as though they will go head-to-head with Manchester United for the signing of Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez, and the Dutch outfit have now revealed their asking price for the Argentine after the Gunners fell short with their opening bid this month.
According to De Telegraaf, the Gunners told Ajax they were willing to spend ‘£25m’ on securing the player’s signature this summer, although that has been quickly shut down by the Eredivisie champions, despite reports saying that Martinez is keen to sign a deal.
But according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Ajax want an ‘incredible’ bid worth €50million (£43m) for Martinez, meaning that the Gunners must be prepared to almost doubt their opening offer should they wish to acquire the Argentine’s services this summer.
Marseille make Tavares move
After struggling to cement his place in the starting lineup last season, despite an injury to Kieran Tierney in the latter stages of the season, Nuno Tavares looks to be on his way out of Arsenal this summer despite arriving just 12 months ago, after struggling to adapt in his first season in England.
Whether it would be on loan or a permanent deal is unclear, but the latest reports from FootMercato, via Get French Football News, have revealed that Ligue 1 side Marseille have submitted a loan with an option-to-buy offer to the Gunners for Tavares this summer.
The Gunners have yet to respond to the bid for the time being but are open to the idea of letting the Portuguese youth international go out on loan, with Serie A side Atalanta also said to be among Tavares’ potential suitors.
