You can get a £65 dupe for Kate Middleton’s £2,000 designer dress

We all wish we could afford designer dresses, especially those ones worn by royalty.

But sadly, for most of us, these dresses are more than just a little over budget.

Kate Middleton’s style is watched closely by fans who wait eagerly for them to be from somewhere affordable.

In March 2020, Kate went on her first official visit to Ireland, and wore a stunning deep green long-sleeved number that was adored by fans.

The dress is by luxury designer Alessandra Rich, whose dresses tend to go for around £1,500 to £2,000 a pop.

But lucky for shoppers on a more modest budget, there’s extremely welcome news, Hello reports.

& Other Stories currently stocks an incredible dupe dress for just £65, guaranteed to make you feel like royalty.

The dress is mid length and pleated, with a black floral print. Grab it for the remaining warm months, but pair it with black tights and boots come September and you can wear it all winter long.

It’s currently fully available in sizes Extra Small to Large, but chances are you’ll want to get in there quick.

On the website it is described as a “fitted midi mesh dress featuring a gently pleated finish and a self-tie detail,” and is made out of recycled polyester.

And the dress isn’t too far a cry from Kate Middleton’s wardrobe – the Duchess of Cambridge has been known to shop in & Other Stories herself.

In May this year, she rocked a pair of flattering jeans from the high-street store, and also stunned in an & Other Stories floral maxi dress in 2019.

The Duchess is no stranger to the high street – she has also previously been spotted in M&S, Boden, L.K Bennett and Whistles.

You can also grab yourself Kate’s clutch from L.K Bennett and a headband from, well, anywhere, to finish off the look.
