Leadenhall Market, famous for its boutiques, shops, restaurants and bars, was used to portray Diagon Alley in the first Harry Potter film – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

In the film, Harry and Hagrid are seen walking through the market before entering the infamous Leaky Cauldron Pub through a blue door.

It is on this same day that Harry discovers he is a wizard, a particularly poignant part of the film.

The Leaky Cauldron is a magical inn and popular wizarding pub featured in the Harry Potter films.

The blue door of the Leaky Cauldron Pub featured in the first Harry Potter film is actually the door of something more ordinary in Leadenhall Market.

Although, the blue door leads to The Leaky Cauldron in the wizarding world, in muggle world it actually leads to an opticians, named Glass House.

The door is easy to spot as its blue colour sticks out among the reds and greens of Leadenhall market.

Leadenhall Market is easy to get to and lies on the edge of the financial district in Central London.
