Dedicated viewers of The Chase love the drama – be it from the high seat of the Chasers, from the four hopefuls, or the wicked wit of Mr Bradley Walsh.

One contestant’s remark this evening left viewers with the jaws hung open as she cut straight to the chase (Get it? Yeah, you get it) with her teammate.

Steph, Charlie, Tony and Tracy all went up against the Jenny Ryan aka ‘The Vixen’ to a bid to win some money to take home.

Thankfully, this was an opportunity for them both to push her back and win an advantage to beat it.

When host Bradley repeated the question for them – it was clear that she did not know the answer and told Tony to answer it instead saying: “You were there, I wasn’t.”

Fans of the show took to Twitter to express how they felt about what she said with one person writing: “Bossy boots Steph!!! #TheChase.”

Another wrote: “Steph didn’t deserve to win because she was rude.”

A third person said: “Steph is a bit forceful, ain’t she. #TheChase.”

The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm.
