A man was stabbed and then rushed to hospital in Enfield last night (Monday 8 November).
Police were called to reports of a male stabbed in Magpie Close at around 6.55pm. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended, finding a boy, believed to be aged 17, with a stab injury to the arm.
The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, his condition is not life threatening.
The local community took to social media to comment on the incident, with one user saying: “Wondered why the helicopter was so low….hope all involved are ok?…[single tear emoji].”
A different person posted: “My poor dad lives on that estate im just lucky it’s not in that corner.”
Someone else remarked: “All this and they still aren’t doing anything ..to stop it but want to build economy stupid ness in and around the Brough..spend money in making are streets and town safe ..”
Another wrote: “Just a normal day in Enfield.”

The Met have so far made no arrests, but their enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
