This weekend was a beauty across the country, and everyone was digging out their best summer outfits to celebrate, Maisie Smith being no exception.
The EastEnders star was out and about this weekend and posted a pair of selfies on Instagram on Monday (May 31) for fans to get excited about.
The Tiffany Butcher actor posts sparingly on her social media with fans usually going wild for her when she does give them a glimpse into her life.
The post in question saw her sat posing fiercely in pair of selfies, wearing a striking half tiger, half leopard print dress.
She captioned the post with a simple: “Grr” in reference to her big cat style attire.
Celebs in the comments were loving the look with Dotty Cotton co-star Milly Zero replying: “Rawr” with a heart eyes emoji, and former X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke exclaiming: “I’m sorry what…” with some heart eyes of her own.
But something else was distracting a number of fans in the comments and it wasn’t the dress.
The first two episodes of ITV’s Masked Dancer aired this weekend and some viewers were convinced Maisie was the squirrel.
They weren’t letting this go on Monday:
“Do squirrels Grr?” One asked cheekily.
“I’m telling you she’s the squirrel on masked dancer” Insisted another to their friend.
“Are you the squirrel on masked dancer hun hmmmm are ya lool” added a third.
But others just wanted to compliment the Albert Square star, making excellent use of tiger based puns:
“You’re GRRRRRR8” One smug fan joking.
