ITV’s new show Cooking with the Stars looks to be an exciting new venture set to rival shows such as MasterChef and Ready, Steady, Cook.
Hosted by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, the show will see eight celebrities being paired up with mentors going from wannabe cooks and hopefully by the end of it blossoming into top talented chefs.
The shows line up includes Griff Rhys-Jones, Shirley Ballas, DJ Naughty Boy, Denise Van Outen, McFly’s Harry Judd, actress Catherine Tyldesley, presenter AJ Odudu and Johnny Vegas who we will be shinning the spot light on.
Benidorm star and comedian Johnny Vegas is not shy of making guest appearances having already been on a variety of shows, including the Weakest Link, A League of Their Own and Celebrity Juice.
His first big time acting gig came in his early career when he made is television debut on the popular game show Win, Lose or Draw.
It looks like the British public couldn’t get enough of his humour as he went onto become a regular panellist for 8 out of 10 Cats.
Johnny struggled with his smoking habit – getting through 60 every day – before revealing two years back he’d managed to kick them completely.
He has said that his biggest inspiration and motivation is Madonna- oddly thanking the pop star for her help without having any connection to her.
The 50-year-old says he quite literally forced himself to dance to Madonna’s hit Lucky Star every time he reached for a cigarette to help curb his habit admitting that the thought of breaking into a boogie in public stopped him from having a smoke.
It looks like that definitely worked for him as he has been able to quit his 60-a-day addiction.
Johnny revealed to the Daily Star : “Every time I seriously consider having a cigarette I make myself dance for at least 10 seconds to her Lucky Star hit.

“It’s not a good look for me and does actually help bolster the social embarrassment bit of my brain while it fights its corner against addiction.”
He has also said that this came about when he decided to change his lifestyle which has inevitably helped him lose weight although adding that he has not been dieting.
“I have not done a diet in anyway whatsoever. I have cut out things, it’s a lifestyle change – and not a drastic diet,”
