We always hear about the celebrity couples who met on set, fell in love and lived happily ever after in a huge mansion and loads of money.
But what about the celebrities who married, dare we say it, ‘ordinary’ people?
You may have never realised, but stars from some of our favourite shows are loved up with people just like you and me.
And some of their love stories are just so romantic.
1. Natalie Cassidy
The Sonia Fowler star has been with EastEnders cameraman Marc Humphreys since 2014.
The actress normally keeps her love life out of the spotlight, but she does post the odd cute picture of her and her “soulmate” on Instagram.
2. Helen Worth
Gail Platt has had her fair share of dodgy men over her years on the street.
But it appears her real-life romance is the real deal, as it’s been eight years since the Corrie actress married deputy headmaster Trevor Dawson in 2013.
And they’ve been loved up ever since!
3. Lacey Turner
The Stacey Slater actress met Matt Kay when they were just teenagers, and were childhood sweethearts from the start, but unlike Lacey, Matt Kay isn’t in the entertainment industry.
Last year, The Sun reported that Matt owned a barbershop called Overgrown in London.
While this may still be the case, his Instagram suggests he has started his own food business too!
But Matt’s non-celeb status didn’t put Lacey off sticking with him, and the now-married couple have little ones too.
4. David Neilson
This legendary Corrie star is married to Jane Neilson, a special needs teacher.
And it is actually thanks to her ordinary job that Roy Cropper’s character has stayed on Corrie for so long.
David told The Mirror : “Roy was a psychopath. He was stalking Deirdre and was a bit scary. It’s nice to play psychos but they don’t stay around too long.
“My wife is a special needs teacher and she worked with people with autism. She said Roy could have Asperger’s syndrome, making him socially inept, rather than menacing. Nobody really knew what Asperger’s was back in 1995, so it’s my wife I owe it to.

“It’s never mentioned in the story though and it shouldn’t be – Roy is a human being, and a label doesn’t help him. But I think he’s got it. It gives him reasons for his behaviour and gives me something to play. I enjoy idiosyncrasies in people and Roy is full of them.”
5. Eden Taylor-Draper
Eden may have only been 6-years-old when she joined the Emmerdale cast, but Belle Dingle is all grown up now…and loved up too!
The 23-year-old actress has been with her boyfriend, Ed, since 2016.
While she has continued to pursue her acting career, she has stayed by her boyfriend’s side – attending his graduation and travelling the world together.
And if there is anything cuter than young love, it’s a love that is genuine too.
