A driver has been left fighting for his life after crashing into a shopfront in East London.
Police were called to Cranbrook Road, Ilford, at 4.45am on Sunday September 11 to reports of the collision.
The two male occupants of the car were rushed to hospital.
The driver is in a life-threatening condition and the passenger is non-threatening.
The car had smashed into the front of a barbers and a neighbouring Romanian deli, causing severe damage to the shopfronts of both.

The front glass of the barber was broken in and the shutter on the front of the other shop looked almost torn off.
The car itself appeared to be totalled with the front a mass of twisted metal.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 4.45am on Sunday September 11 to reports of a car in collision with a shop front in Cranbrook Road, Ilford.
“London Fire Brigade also attended. The male occupants of the car have been taken to an East London hospital.
“The condition of the driver is life-threatening; the passenger’s condition is not life-threatening.
“Local road closures were in place but roads are now open. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
