Former Oasis drummer says he’s ‘not out of the woods’ after heart attack

Former Oasis star Tony McCarroll has thanked the NHS for looking after him after his heart attack – but says he’s “not out of the woods” just yet.

The 50-year-old revealed on social media: “Hi All. Wanted to let you know I was admitted to hospital on Thursday after suffering a heart attack on Wednesday night.

“I’m not quite out of the woods as yet but just want to give a massive big up to our #NHS We are more than fortunate to have such a service! Thank you!!”

Original drummer McCarroll shot to fame as one of the original members of the hit band back in the 1990s.

But he left the band after an acrimonious split in 1995.
