Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the were Liveperson (TASE:), which rose 2.66% or 490 points to trade at 18890 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) added 2.65% or 8.4 points to end at 325.4 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:) was up 2.45% or 690 points to 28860 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Perrigo (TASE:), which fell 1.72% or 240 points to trade at 13730 at the close. Leumi (TASE:) declined 1.45% or 32 points to end at 2168 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 1.42% or 62 points to 4292.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 to 178 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.67% or 0.43 to $64.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.55% or 0.37 to hit $67.89 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.38% or 6.55 to trade at $1723.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.12% to 3.3207, while EUR/ILS rose 0.09% to 3.9594.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 91.832.
