Damian Lewis among host of celebrities taking to City trading floors to raise millions of pounds for charity
Damian Lewis was among a host of celebrities who took to City trading floors yesterday to raise millions of pounds for charity.
The Billions star, 50, hit the phones in the offices of broker BGC to fundraise for the youth arts foundation set up in memory of his late wife, Helen McCrory.
It was part of BGC’s annual Charity Day, held ahead of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks in New York today.

BGC runs the event every year to commemorate 658 Cantor Fitzgerald staff who perished in the North Tower of the World Trade Center in 2001.
The broker, which was previously part of Cantor, donates 100 per cent of its revenues from the day to a plethora of causes.
Other celebrities who took part yesterday included Doctor Who and Victoria star Jenna Coleman, comedian David Walliams and television presenter Davina McCall. Actors Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy and Samuel L Jackson have taken part previously.
Since it started holding the event, BGC says it has raised more than £129m for charity.
